1. Select the Text Tool (green ‘T’ on the left side of the screen) and
type in a word.
2. Choose the Select Tool (pink arrow in the left side of the screen)
and drag a box around the word. Size the word as desired by clicking and
dragging on the box in the lower right corner.
3. Using the drop down menu in Design Central (the box in the upper
right corner) choose the font by clicking on the ‘A’. This also
automatically provides the tracking arrows used to connect words. If the
Design Central box and the Fill/Stroke Editor box are not visible…go to
View and click ‘Design Central’ and ‘Fill/Stroke Editor’.
4. Using the tracking arrows to the right of the word, click and drag to
the left and overlap the individual characters. The characters can also
be moved individually, again by simply clicking and dragging the small
square located just before any character.
5. Once satisfied with the characters’ placement, click on the ‘Weld’
button which is the connected blue shape on the left side of the screen.
6. From there, click the cut button (blue blade on the top toolbar) and
a screen will be provided to make document selections.
7. Under ‘Material’, choose User Defined and select the size of the
paper being used in the Xyron® Wishblade®. Under ‘Size’ select the size
of the connected word or shape being cut.
