Xyron Wishblade: Create and Cut won't install on Windows XP Media Center SP3

Purchased the Xyron Wishblade.  In the box are 3 discs:  (1)  Xyron Wishblade V.4.1; (2)  Xyron Create and Cut Plus V.1.0; and (3) Xyron Wishblade Create and Cut Plus Instructional DVD.

The Xyron Wishblade V.4.1 installed just fine. 

The Instructional DVD plays just fine. 

However, the Xyron Create and Cut Plus V.1.0 cannot get past the installshield setup "please wait" window and freezes from even being able to "End Task" in Task Manager.  After 3 hours of patience that "please wait" means something is not right.  Need help.

Also, the Cutting Mat Pack has a label that says the package contains 2 cutting mats and 1 O-Ring.  However, the package only contains a yellow layered cut mat.  There was no second cut mat or an O-Ring.  Please assist.

Your installation issue can be caused by a couple of reasons. 

First, It may be a damaged CD. In which case please send me the Wishblade's serial number, Date of Purchase of Create and Cut Plus and your Wishblade as well as your name, address and phone number - then we can email it to you or send you a new CD. Please let us know which you prefer.

Second, if your computer's Fire Wall or virus protection software is blocking it - you can remove the program from your fire wall - both the Create and Cut Plus and Production Manager programs. As all virus and firewall software is different you will need to refer to the documentation provided by that manufacturer. It will not hurt your computer by disabling it for the programs.

If you are missing a cutting mat you will also need to send me the following information - Wishblade's serial number, Date of Purchase of Create and Cut Plus and your Wishblade as well as your name, address and phone number and we will take care of that for you.

Regarding the O-Ring the newer blades (including the one shipped with your Wishblade) do not require the use of O-rings and therefore we no longer ship them.

I didn't receive your information that you mentioned in your forum post. Please feel free to type your information in the Help Desk response that was sent to you separately. It is not "public" in the sense that anyone can read it. Only yourself and I can read the information.
