I've purchased this runner months ago & just now started to use it.  I have been very happy with my other Xyron products but am having termendous trouble with the adhesive runner.  I purchased three refill packs with the runner and they all broke almost from the start. Once I started to roll the runner over my paper the tape would come undone showing the red tape.  I went to purchase two more packs of adhesive. Not understanding what it could be. I normally have no trouble assembeling large items and furniture. So I was stumped as to why the tape keeps breaking.  I am now guessing it must be a defect with the runner itself that is breaking the tape.

I am so glad to find out that I am not the only one with a problem with this product.  I have had the same experience as you.  I am tempted to mail it to Xyron and forget about it.  However, I really do like the results I get with the runner.  I didn't have trouble until maybe my third or four refill.  I have decided that something is not catching on the contact wheels??? Just do not know.  What happens now that I have vented???

I am so sorry you are both having issues with your Xyron Adhesive Runner.  We have heard some issue with the paper liner in the Runner and have worked very hard to use that feedback to make a better runner.  In 6 weeks, Xyron will start shipping a brand new Tape Runner with 40ft of adhesive and Mega Runner with 100ft of adhesive.

I am also having the same issue with my Xyron Adhesive Runner.  I purchased the runner about two weeks ago at Joann Fabric in San Antonio.  It came loaded and had a refill in the package.  After using for just a few minutes, the same thing happened.  I put in the refill and the exact same thing happened.  I called Customer Service this morning and a woman said she would call me back, but I still have not had a call back.

Thank you for your quick response and sending me a replacement refill, however, you only sent one refill.  As stated in my post, both the cartridge that came in the adhesive runner as well as the extra refill cartridge that came with it malfunctioned.  I need you to send me one more, please.  Thank you.

I was wrong.  I was expecting two separate packages and didn't realize that the one  package had two cartidges in it.  Thanks!

i purchased my mega runner on 9/18 as part of a bundle.  I just took it out of the packet today to make a baby book for any upcoming Baby Shower.  The 1st few strips of glue worked well.  However, it would not advance forward after that.  I removed the cartridge to see if I needed to advance some tape by hand and there is just a blob of glue around the tape.  I called HSN back and they advised that I needed to contact Xyron.  I have just about every Xyron product and have never had any issues till this one.  Please assist.
