I have a pink Wishblade less than 6 months old and I am using Create & Cut 2.0. I am trying to cut an .AI shape, which I'm overlaying over an identical .PDF image. What's happening is that as the .AI file cuts, it seems to be falling out of alignment. It will start close to correct, but by the time it's done, the final cut will be totally in the wrong place. I don't think the paper is slipping on the cutting mat, as it is still squarely aligned when it finishes, but i have no idea what can be causing this.
Any ideas?
There are 2 things you need to check with Create and Cut Plus:
First:
When you click PRINT, the print dialog will load, Check the Create and Cut Plus print options in the print dialog. Make sure SCALE is set to 100% (12 inches = 1 foot) and that all borders and weed lines are turned off or unchecked.
Second:
Make sure you are in Portrait Orientation. If you have a design that is landscape orientation all you need to do is change it to portrait then rotate the entire design using the EDIT Select ALL and clicking the rotate tab in Design Central. Make sure you are in Portrait orientation before setting the Contour and Contour cut marks.
Also - make sure your Wishblade is clear of any debris and is on a flat surface. Use canned air to blow out any debris.
