These will be used a the center flower design on the canvases. Cut the ovals onto cardstock. Run the cut ovals thru the Xyron 9" Creative Station with repositionable adhesive.
- Lay canvases in desired shape and then place ovals onto corners of canvases to make a flower design. Use the light, medium and dark paints to gently layer color over canvases until desired effect is achieved.
- Carefully remove cardstock from dry ccanvases and use paint to tough up any areas where needed. (Let the layers dry between painting and using small amounts of paint at a time are key to success of thei project.)

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Following cutting instructions and using the WB template at Xyron.com cut out the three circles for the ‘cake layer’ tops (pink cardstock) and the two ‘icing’ strips (white cardstock).
- The ‘cake layers’ are 2” x 12” strips of pattern paper.
- After applying adhesive using the 3/8” runner and bending in the tabs around the cake top circle you will wrap the pattern paper strip around the circle attaching to the adhesive tabs. Leave a half inch of the pattern paper overlapping and apply more adhesive using the 3/8” runner to secure ends of paper.
- Run the ribbon thru the Xyron 1.5" create-a-sticker and apply the ribbon to the top of the bottom cake layer.
- Run the ‘link’ icing strip thru the Xyron 1.5" create-a-sticker and apply glitter to sticky side. Rerun thru the Xyron 1.5" create-a-sticker with the glitter side up. Apply to the top of the center cake layer.
- Apply rub-ons to the scallop ‘icing’ strip. Run thru the X150 using the permanent adhesive cartridge and apply to the top of the top cake layer. Add rhinestones.
- Using the Xyron Design Runner and Xyron Design Disc Maker with fairytale font disc add the sentiment to the banner cut from the Wishblade using pattern paper.
- Run the banner thru the X150 using the permanent adhesive cartridge. Wrap banner around toothpick and secure. Apply chipboard die cut crown to banner.
- Gently poke a hole in the center of the top cake layer. Center the large and small sheer flowers over the hole and insert the banner on the pick into the hole. Apply chipboard die cut princesses and accessories to the bottom cake layer. Add a die cut chipboard sentiment to the middle cake layer. Enjoy!

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Cut 2 masks from White Cardstock using the Xyron Wishblade and Xyron Create and Cut Plus Software. Cut yellow pieces out of Gold/Yellow Cardstock. Cut Purple pieces from Purple cardstock. Cut Green pieces from Green Cardstock. Cut Black pieces from Black Cardstock. Place one of the White Mask cut sections and then all the Gold/Yellow Cut Cardstock, then all the Purple and then all the Green cut pieces through the Xyron 9” Creative Station. Trim Tissue Paper to 8-1/2 inches. Crumple Tissue paper then straighten back out and place through the Xyron 9” Creative Station. Place the White Mask with adhesive on top of the other cut White Mask. (This will make it thicker and more durable). Cover the entire Mask, front and back by tearing strips of white tissue paper from the sheets placed through the Xyron 9” Creative Station. Working one section at a time, with the colored Cardstock still on the Xyron Adhesive Backing, Paint a thin layer of white glue (slightly diluted with water) over the Gold/Yellow Cardstock pieces. Shake gold glitter over pieces making sure to completely cover each piece. Shake off excess glitter on a paper plate or glitter tray. Repeat with Purple and Green Cardstock pieces and Purple and Green Glitter. Let Dry completely. Shake excess glitter over the white mask covered with tissue strips. Glitter will adhere along the edges of the torn tissue pieces. Rub lightly to adhere the glitter and shake off the excess. Place a bead of white glue along one edge of the Cord edging. Adhere the Cord edging around the entire mask. Let Dry. Adhere the Gold, Purple and Green Cardstock Pieces as shown over the White tissue mask. Wrap each one of the Black eyelash strips around a pencil or skewer to roll them slightly. Using the Xyron 3/8” Adhesive Runner, place adhesive around the edges of the Black eyelashes. Place over the Gold cardstock Eyes on the mask. Place Rhinestones and Sequins through the Xyron 1.5” create-a-sticker to apply adhesive to the back. Rub each before removing adhesive backing. Embellish mask with rhinestones, sequins and beads. Place eyelets in eyelet holes and set with setter. Laminate Pumpkin
Artist:
Jessica Barnett
Estimated Time:

Difficulty:
Intermediate
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by tracing the template onto your orange papers. I traced onto the back side of the paper using a pencil and the template, then cut all of the pieces out with my scissors. You could choose to upload the template into Create and Cut Plus and cut the pieces out using the Wishblade.
- Run all the pieces through the Xyron 9" Creative Station using the double sided laminate cartridge, then use the template and a paper piercer to punch holes along the sides of each piece for stitching.
- Sew each side together using the needle and green embroidery floss. Once the pieces are sewn together you will have to adjust the sides so they take on the shape of a pumpkin.
- Use a scrap of the orange paper to cut out a pentagon that is larger than the opening in the bottom of the pumpkin. This is easy to do in Create and Cut Plus for the Wishblade.
- Laminate this piece and a strip of green to be used for the handle with the Xyron 9" Creative Station using the double sided laminate cartridge. To attach the bottom: pierce two holes in each corner of the pentagon, one about ½” in and the other about 1” in from the tip. Sew through these holes and through the seams in the pumpkin to tack them together on the inside about 1-1 ½” up from the bottom of the pumpkin.
- To attach the handle, punch holes through the handle and the pumpkin. I punched two lines of holes, then stitched the pieces together using stitches in “x” shapes.
- The little green curls near the handle were made with thin scraps of green paper. I wrapped these around a pencil to give them the shape, then folded one end of the strip over on itself to reinforce it, before I attached them to the pumpkin using a knotted stitch.
- Support the bottom while handling the pumpkin and be careful to not overfill it with goodies!
