Estimated Time:

Difficulty:
Beginner
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Use your circle template to cut the largest circle possible from your 12" x 12" piece of paper. If you don’t have anything large enough, you can use your ruler and pencil to measure out from a smaller circle to get the size you need, or you can draw a large circle using a piece of string and a pencil, just hold the string in place in the center of the page with the pencil tied to the end and pull the pencil around the paper to get your shape.
- Use one of these methods or a large template to get the largest circle possible out of your 18" x 18" piece of paper.
- Trace and cut with scissors. Use your gold pen to draw a ring around the edges of each circle. This is just to add a little extra detail and doesn’t need to be perfectly even.
- Use the 2” and 3/8 inch adhesive runners to attach the smaller circle to the top of the larger circle.
Other Materials
- 1 Piece of 18" x 18" Paper
- 1 Piece of 12" x 12" Paper
- Metallic Gold Pen

Pendaflex Single Level Filer
Artist:
Jessica Barnett
Estimated Time:

Difficulty:
Intermediate
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by laying the front and back ends of the filer holder over the back side of the patterned papers and trace the curve onto the paper. Use scissors to cut away the paper, just inside the pencil lines. Hold the cute pieces up against the sides to be sure that they will fit, then use them to cut identical pieces out of the solid cardstock.
- These pieces will go on the inside of the box, and may need to have approximately ¼” trimmed off the height because of the bottom on the inside. Run all pieces through the Xyron 9" Creative Station, then attach to the file box.
- Take the third piece of patterned paper and trim it to fit the width of a file folder. Use the Xyron 2” Adhesive Runner to attach the paper to the front side of the folder. Fold approximately 2” of the paper and attach it to the inside of the folder. Take the 4” wide strips of paper and attach them (folded in half) to the top edges of the folders after running them through the Xyron 9" Creative Station.
- Use the Xyron 2” Adhesive Runner to attach the 2” strip of paper to the front of the file box. Tie one end of the ribbon into a knot with a short tail and attach it to the front of the box, over the strip of paper with the Xyron 3/8” Adhesice Runner and trim the end.
- Layer the paper flower, die cut flower and fabric covered brad to make an embellishment. Use adhesive dots to attach the flower embellishment under the ribbon. Cut the scrap of paper to fit the chipboard center of the metal label.
- Run the paper through the Xyron 1.5" create-a-sticker and attach it to the chipboard oval, then attach the oval to the center of the metal label and place the label on the file folder in front.

Double Hanging Plaque
Artist:
Jessica Barnett
Estimated Time:

Difficulty:

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Paint edges of the wooden plaques and allow to dry.
- Measure tops of the plaques and cut papers to fit.
- Cut the other papers and pictures to the desired sizes then use the sandpaper to rough up the edges of the papers and pictures, then ink the distressed edges.
- To join the plaques together and attach the ribbon that it will hang from, cut different lengths of ribbon. The ones I used to separate the plaques were about 6” long. I also cut 8 scraps of chipboard that were about 1” tall and as wide as the ribbon I used. I attached them to the ends of the ribbon using the Xyron 3/8”Adhesive Runner.
- Once all the ends of the ribbon that need to be attached to the plaques are wrapped around chipboard, use the staple gun to secure them to the boards. (Staple through the ribbon and chipboard to prevent the ribbon from tearing when you hang it).
- Attach the background paper to the board after running it through the Xyron 9" Creative Station.
- Use the Xyron 2”Adhesive Runner to attach the additional papers and pictures to the boards. Use the Xyron 3/8" Adhesive Runner to attach the embellishments.
- Tie a piece of twine around one of the boards for added embellishment. Complete the project by adding any other desired embellishments.

- Begin by drawing your scalloped circle using the Create and Cut program for the Wishblade.
- Create a new polygon. In Design Central, select the polyygon tab and increase the number of sides to 17, you will see a circle click hold and pull to give the side a curvature. when you have the desired length you will notice a second circle a bit outside of the shape, use that to adjust to the desired curve effect.
- Copy and paste to fit many on a page, repeat until you have the number of menus needed. Cut out on your Wishblade using the metallic paper.
- In your word processing program, type up your menu. You may want to choose a more decorative font for the title and a simpler and easier to read font for the contents of the menu.
- Type the lines so that they will fit well into the circle shape, and be sure that the size of your menu is smaller than your scalloped circle. Print them out on a practice paper until you’re sure that you like the way they look, then print them out on the cream cardstock.
- Use your circle cutter to cut the menus out of your cardstock, then trace around the edges of each cream circle with the gold pen.

Pendaflex Large Paper Sorter
Artist:
Jessica Barnett
Estimated Time:
1
Difficulty:
Intermediate
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Use the ruler to measure the height of the side of the paper holder (allowing for a small border around the edge) and cut four of the pieces of paper to fit that height using the paper trimmer.
- Lay the paper holder on top of the trimmed pieces of paper and use a pencil to trace the curve onto the backside of the paper. Trim away the excess paper using scissors. Use these same methods to cut papers for the inside pieces, but be sure to remove them from the holder first and allow for extra space at the top and bottom of these pieces because they have to be able to fit back inside the slots of the holder.
- Use the Xyron 2” and 3/8” Adhesive Runners to attach the papers to both sides of the ends and middle dividers. If there is any excess sticking up over the sides, use a craft knife to trim.
- Run a piece of ribbon along the curved edge of the holder and cut to length. (you will need two of these pieces). Run the ribbon pieces through the Xyron 1.5" create-a-sticker and attach to the two curved end pieces. At the tightest parts of the curves, you will need to use your scissors to cut small slits into the ribbon so that it will lay flat on the plastic.
- Take the two flowers and fold them in half. This allows you to cover a bigger area with them and also makes them look fuller. Use dimensional adhesive dots to hold them in a folded position, then use more of the dots to attach them to the side of the paper holder. Use the dots one more time to attach the label on top of the flowers.
