Steps for installation:

Saving Updater and Unzipping:

1.  Save attachment to your C: drive--preferably in a folder you can easily find it in later if needed.

2.  After you have saved attachment, locate it by using your Explore function ie:  Rt. click start>lft. click explore.

3.  Once you have the zipped file showing on the right hand side of your screen, right click on it and choose "extract all".  This will enable your WinZip program to unzip the file and allow you access to the contents. 

 

 Installing Updater (vista driver): 

*******Do NOT have the USB or Power cable inserted********

1.Dbl click unzipped ‘Xyron C&C Vista Updater’ folder (it’s probably named the same as the zipped folder.)  

2.  Dbl click ‘Xyron Vista.exe’.  The below message will show up in the installation box.

The Following Updater will update the Xyron Software to be Vista compatible.

Please click the "Update" button and the update will be done automatically.

When finished click the "Close" button.

Your Software is now Vista compatible!

3.  Click Update—this will install really fast. 

You should now be finished and installed!
