Monogram with a name cut out of it.
Use a large letter with a name cut out of it as the centerpoint of your
photos. You can use the outline of a letter that might be the first name
of someone or a school you are doing a page about. In our example, the
large N was made using Kandal Oldstyle SC OL and sizing it to about 4
inches. Then Nicki was made using Kandal Old SC and selecting an angle
of 90 degrees. Nicki was then placed in the leg of the N and sized to
fit. Nicki could also have been rotated and cut out of the downward
stroke of the N. When cut, the large letter will have the negative of
the name cut out. This can be done with a variety of the Wishblade fonts
and nearly any name. The three holes for ribbon were punched in the N
but could have been made with the circle tool in Wishblade Advanced.
