HowToOccasionally, when running thicker items through your Xyron 500 Create-a-Sticker, the adhesive will build on the top or sides of the sticker. To remove the excess adhesive, take a piece of clear plastic wrap (e.g. Saran Wrap®) and place it over your sticker before removing it from the liner. Run your finger or a blunt instrument over the artwork and around the edges, then remove the clear plastic wrap and the excess adhesive with it.
Occasionally, very thick or very thin items might roll up inside the machine. To prevent this, watch the item as it comes out of the machine and place your hand on the paper liner to guide it down and out.
For best results, turn the knob slowly. About one revolution every 10 seconds.
