Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Run a strip of adhesive, using the 3/8” Adhesive Runner, down one end of the 3” x 6” strip of brown cardstock. This will make the tube shape for the turkey face. The seam will be the back of the turkey.
  2. Lay the tube on its side and apply a few short strips of adhesive, using the 3/8” Adhesive Runner to the inside of the tube. Attach feathers to these strips of adhesive. You may need to trim the feathers to the size you want before attaching them.
  3. Using the black, green and yellow 4” x 4” cardstock squares and the Karen Foster Calendar Design book for the Personal Cutting System, cut the pilgrim hat, band and buckle. Run thru the 2.5" create-a-sticker. Layer the band and buckle onto hat. Place hat onto turkey as shown in picture.
  4. Using the Basic Shapes book for the Personal Cutting System and the 4” x 4” white cardstock square cut two ovals from the ‘thought bubble’ shape. Adhere to the turkey face using the 3/8” Adhesive Runner. Apply google eyes to the bottom of the white ovals using the 3/8” Adhesive Runner.
  5. Cut a 1.5” x 1.5” square from the orange cardstock. Fold in half on the diagonal in each direction. Cut from one corner to the middle. Apply adhesive to the back of these cut flaps. Overlap the flaps to form beak and apply to front of turkey. Freehand cut the piece of red cardstock to make the turkey wattle. Apply to beak using the 3/8” Adhesive Runner.
