Step 1 - Trim the bottoms off paper bags.
Step 2 - Cut strip of cardstock 5 Permanent Adhesive. Keep protective coating on the bottom. Score, fold accordion style every 1 inch. Remove liner and insert bag between each fold. Step 3 - Cut rectangles and squares from assorted cardstock. Punch hole in small square that will be positioned in center, left of journal. Run through Xyron 9" Creative Station. Adhere all items to the journal except square with hole. Step 4 - Punch hole in the small square in the center, right of the journal (hole will go through bag also). Tie a piece of fiber in hole. Weave die cut flowers onto fiber and tie other end to the remaining small square. Adhere to journal. Step 5 - Punch a hole in each end of spine. Tie cotton string and fiber through 2 holes. Tie cotton string through hole in the center square on right. Fray ends of strings. Step 6 - Add title and any embellishments to personalize the cover. Add papers, photos and embellishments to remaining pages. Step 7 - Fold and cut lined paper to make journals for inside each bag. Cut paper covers from assorted cardstock. Fold and staple. Place inside pages. |
