Instructions:
Use Drapery patterned paper for first page and reverse side of Jacquard
patterned paper for second page background of layout.
Page 1
1. Cut 3” border from Silk Taffeta Paper. Use scissor blade to distress
edge of paper. Adhere to right edge of Drapery patterned paper. Use
brown ink to distress outer perimeter of page.
2. Cut 9 x 10” square from Jacquard patterned paper. Use scissor blade
to distress all edges of paper. Working on the reverse side of the
Jacquard patterned paper, fold down left corner so that Jacquard pattern
is revealed and set tan eyelet. Mount on Drapery background as shown.
3. Cut 9 x 2” strip of Jacquard patterned paper. Use scissor blade to
distress all edges of paper.
Mount strip 6 ½” down on reverse side of square from step 2. Place
Jacquard pattern up.
4. Crop first photo to 4 ¾ x 7 and second photo to 3 x 3”. Cut mats with
1/8” border for each. Use sandpaper to scratch inside edges of first
photo. Distress mats with brown ink. Adhere photos and mount to page as
shown.
5. Distress edges of chipboard brown brackets and chipboard light blue 3
x 3” frame and mount on page as shown.
6. Cut two 1 x 12” borders from Jacquard patterned paper. Cut two ¾ x
12” borders from Silk Taffeta patterned paper. Distress all edges of
borders with brown ink. Position reverse side of Silk Taffeta patterned
paper onto Jacquard patterned border and adhere to page ¾” from bottom
edge of first page. Set second border aside for use on page 2.
7. Using Xyron Personal Cutting System and Xyron Embellishment Shapes
and Font Book cut large (+) first letter of Title. Using Xyron Tag
Shapes and Font Book by Karen Foster cut medium size of the remaining
letters of your title. Adhere to page. Tie 4 ½” ribbon into knot and
adhere to first letter of title with sticky dot.
8. Using Xyron Custom Shapes by Junkitz cut three large (+) maple leaves
from reverse side of Upholstery Tacks patterned paper and one large leaf
from reverse side of Bed Linen patterned paper. Next cut three large (+)
outline leaves from reverse side of Bed Linen patterned paper and one
large (+) outline from reverse side of Upholstery Tacks patterned paper.
Crinkle and distress all leaves with sandpaper. Layer leaves and outline
leaves to one another and adhere one leaf to page 1 and set aside
remaining three leaves for second page.
