Step 1 - Depending on the size of the gift bag, cut a rectangle of
Basic Grey paper (teal) to fit on the front of the bag, leaving
about 1/2" border (see photo).
Step 2 - Run the rectangle through the 900 machine and adhere it to the front of the bag. Using a white pen, draw freehand scallops around the rectangle as shown. Step 3 - Trace three flowers onto different sheets of Basic Grey pattern paper. Punch holes in the petals of each flower. (You can also create these photos and cut them with the Wishblade if available.) Step 4 - Cut Three 1/2" stems from green Bazzill. Optional: Stitch down the stems with a zigzag stitch, handdraw stitches, or use rubon stitches. Step 5 - Adhere the flowers and the stems to the bag using the 3/8" adhesive runner. Step 6 - Using the Design Runner, print a tag that says "Happy Birthday" and adhere it to the bag with the white ric rac. Step 7 - Flatten out two sheets of tissue paper, hold the paper taught by taping it to a flat surface. Using the Design Runner, print the swirl image multiple times around the tissue paper until you achieve a look that you are happy with. Put the tissue in the bag. |
