Pink Wishblade installed but won't cut

I have a pink wishblade running on XP Home Edition that despite all my efforts has never cut.  I have installed the drivers that came with it, and even tried getting updated drives and installing them.  The printer shows as ready and online in the printer folder, and when I go to cut it appears it is going to work but when I hit OK to send the document to the cutter I get a windows error saying the document could not be sent to the printer.  I am at my wits end with this thing.  I was so exicted at the possibilities this machine offers when I got it but so far it has only served as a dust collector  :(

The Wishblade normally works great with Windows XP using both the Wishblade Software and the Create and Cut software. Make sure your Wishblade is connected via USB directly into the back of your computer and you are not using a USB hub or keyboard connection. Try physically plugging it into a different USB on the back of your computer. Try unplugging printers and other USB devices so only the Wishblade is plugged in to eliminate any conflicts.
