Pink Wishblade and Windows 7

Hello all,

I just installed my Wishblade and Create and Cut software on Windows 7 Ultimate.  Both programs work wonderfully with the exception of an extra window coming up during the cutting process in the Wishblade software.  If that is the only issue i am going to have I am good with it.

Great to hear! 

Wishblade Software is unfortunately no longer supported by Graphtec, this is why Xyron chose to make Create and Cut (and later Plus).  I hope you continue to have fun with all of your projects!  Post some pics in the forum as well!

I have a new computer with windows 7 premium home addition. Does the pink wishblade work off of this or do I need a new driver.

Yes it will still work. 

 

For Windows 7 or Windows Vista you need to use the Create and Cut Plus or Create and Cut 1.0 with Vista Updates. The original Wishblade software will not work with Windows 7 or Windows Vista and we are no longer writing drivers for that software program.
If you have the earlier version of Create and Cut 1.0 you will need to install the Vista update which is located at:

Towards the bottom of the page at: 
Software Updates and Patches>Create & Cut Vista Update
If you do not have Create and Cut or Create and Cut Plus you can purchase it at: 
http://www.xyron.com/enUS/Products/Cutting_Machine_Supplies/Xyron_Wishblade/Create_and_Cut_Plus.html
If you have Create and Cut 1.0 and are having problems installing the updates, send me your complete contact information (by responding to the email i sent you from the Xyron Help Desk) and the serial number on your Wishblade and I can email you a working copy that includes all the updates.
