I wonder if you or one of your colleagues can answer a question for me. I understand that Create and Cut Plus will work with all Wishblades plus Graphtec Craft ROBO and Quickuts Silhouette as detail on Xyron's web-site:
The newest version of Create and Cut allows you to weld words, outline, print and cut, auto-trace, vectorize bitmaps, import from your scanner and more! Create & Cut Plus is Windows Vista and Mac OSX Leopard compatible! This software package will work on all previous models of the Xyron Wishblade. In addition to the Graphtec Craft Robo and the QuicKuts Silhouette!
Can you confirm if it will on the current Quickuts Silhouette and Graphtec's current craft ROBOs - Craft Robo Lite CC300-20 and Craft ROBO CC330-20 as these do not look anything like the Wishblade (previous Silhouettes and ROBOs did) so I am concerned that drivers may have been changed. I will look forward to hearing from you - thanks in advance

Create and Cut has awesome compatablity and is so much more stable, on both Windows and Mac, compared to other cutting software product on the market. Thanks for the reply. I had already sent a couple of emails regarding my enquiry to cuttinghelp@xyron.com over the last few weeks but have still not got an answer, so just in case they had disappeared into cyber space I sent a copy again to 'cuttinghelp' and to your email address this morning plus posted here because I was concerned my emails were not getting through. Hopefully someone with email me with an answer soon.

Hi - I own a blue Wishblade and the Create & Cut + software. I want to buy a new laptop and it comes with Vista 64. Will I be able to use my Wishblade with the software with Vista 64?

We have not experienced any problems with Vista 64 based computers. If you do encounter any problems, contact Tech Support and they will be able to get you on your way.

I read somewhere else on this forum that the red wishblade is not compatable with vista 64-bit.
I phoned about this and they said they would phone me back. That did not happen. So could you maybe tell
when the driver for vista 64-bit is available?
All Wishblades - Pink and Blue - are 100% Vista 64 bit compatible with Create and Cut Plus software.
The older Wishblade programs - that were created BEFORE Vista existed - are not compatible with Vista 64. They were created to be compatible with the system software (Windows XP and earlier) that existed when the Wishblade programs were created.
Any time you upgrade your computer's system software (such as an upgrade to Vista) you will need to upgrade your device software (such as printers, scanners, and your Wishblade) as well. If you are using Vista 64 bit and the have the older Wishblade software simply upgrade to the Create and Cut Plus software. Thats fantastic except that create and cut does not open GSD files which are the most common cutter files.... Only the wishblade software opens them.
So if you have Vista 64bit - You will only be able to half use the machine... Unless they have come up with another solution the since the last time I contacted them.

Can you tell me if the Create and Cut Plus software works better with vista? Will I still need to download the driver updates for it like I have to do with the Create and Cut version 1 for the pink wishblade?
