I'm using my wishblade to cut 40lb paper on the cutting matte, but it stopped cutting through... I bought a brand new blade, but it still won't cut, even with the pressure set to 3, the pink cap on, and the machine set to cut 3 passes. I checked and the blade is at 3:00 and totally into the housing, locked. This covers every troubleshooting tip that I could find, but it still doesn't work.
How do I fix it?
I have also had this issue only to find out that the blade was not completely in the housing - especially if its a new blade. Make sure when you are putting the blade in the housing that you get it in there really firmly. There shouldn't be any gap between the blade and the housing.
What I do is hold the blue knob with my left hand (so it cannot move) while pressing the blade really firmly into the blade housing. The turn the blue knob to lock it in place.
