Hi!

I purchased a refill for my 2.5" Xyron Create a Sticker machine. For some reason it's not working properly. It appears the clear cellophane  has broken and is no longer connected. I think it needs to be rethreaded but I'm not sure where it goes. Is there a diagram somewhere that would help me with this problem? Thanks!

I have the little "X".  I took a refill out of the package and somehow unwound the sticky tape stuff. ie... the white tape is no longer in its slot and I cannot figure out how to insert it again. I suppose that if I purchased another refill, I could see how to do this, but what I really need is a close-up drawing of just where the tape should go.

Okay. I figured it out. Both ends (clear and white) need to come out through the "fuzzy" part. So I sandwiched a tab of cardstock between the two tapes and pushed it through the slots until I hit the right one. Then I pulled on the tab and VOILA...  I got the X working good again.

Why does xyron not publish directions for re-starting a refill when something happens like this?  I don't know many people who will spend as much as a new refill costs more than a time or two because of a mis-feed, or as in my case, a child pulling the tape out. without abandoning the product as too expensive to keep using. It really was pretty simple to fix myself once I saw this post and took a few minutes to figure out the direction the tapes should be loaded in, but  it would have been a much better experience if Xyron had published a simple instruction with a few pictures to help me figure it out, which is what I expected to find when I searched for a solution.  Simple steps like that show me as a consumer that you value my time, and money, and want to make my use of your product a consistently pleasant experience.

Thank you GJParker!  I would have had no idea how to fix my X after my kids unwound the tape.   Thanks to your description I was able to fix it!

Seriously! This fix was so easy- I just wanted a picture of how the adhesive and cellophane needed to be threaded through the refill cartridge and couldn't find anything.
