I am running windows XP, and just picked up a wishblade at an estate sale. Though it was never taken out of the box and used, the software was missing as well as the blade holders. I found a download on the web Wishblade Advanced ver. 2.20. When I click the cut command I get and error the the compactflash is missing. What is this? HELP!!
Can you please call us at Technical Support at 1-877-392-9474 9-5 EDT.
i have the same problem, do i have to order the create and cut software or is there any way of getting my machine to cut without the sd cards?
I would recommend for you both to buy the Create & Cut Plus Software. There are so many things you can do with the software that wasn't possible with that original WB software. You can use any font on your computer, you can weld your words, autotrace as long as many other possiblities. You can order it going to the products tab above.
Thanks Kasey, I was contemplating the C&C+. Can I still use my existing .gsd files? Will this new C&C+ software enable me to open the new version of .gsd's on my group site? If not how do I convert old files, and open newer version gsd files?
THANKS! :>
You wouldn't be able to open the GSD files in the Plus program but there is a some help right here to convert: http://www.xyron.com/img/compel/6dxOujc5WznhYiX9VhovYGP_MtRtFq09.pdf
Kasey do you know if I can just get the C&C software to run with Windows 7 and not have to install the original WB software. I have the blue machine and my XP computer died so I haven't been able to use it anymore.
THanks,Cari
Both Create and Cut 1.0 and Plus work with Windows 7. With the earlier version of Create and Cut 1. you will need to load the VISTA update. It is located at: http://www.xyron.com/enUS/Campaigns/Wishblade_Media_Center.html
If you have Create and Cut Plus its Windows 7 compatible - no updates needed.
With any version of Create and Cut installed you do not need the Wishblade software or drivers installed at all.

I purchased my blue wishblade a few years ago and used it only about 3 times. It didn't seemed to work well, the help was not very helpful, and it was too cumbersome to use. I then got a Mac and I gave up hope on using it again until software came out for the Mac. I see there is Mac software now. I paid several hundred dollars for this machine that never worked well on my PC. I'm leery about paying another $99 for something that may not work well still with my Mac. There should be a reduced price upgrade for the version we received with the blue wishblade. Do the people who paid $300+ for the blue wishblades have to pay another $99 so we can have software that works? Seems too pricey to me.
Yes the plus is compatible with Mac. You will be loving what you can do with the software. You can order here at the www.xyron.com website.
