I am running Create and Cut Plus for Mac 1.0 Build 1416 and I am having trouble locating the option for adding trim marks or registration marks for the machine's optical reader to read and precicely cut my shapes.
I was told by Tech Support to run the patch that they posted online first, I downloaded it and have no idea how to install it. It comes as a "pmcutter.bundle" file and I am not sure where to place that file.
Anyone know how to install this file and also any info on adding Registration marks on the Mac? I believe it is a feature of Contour Cut but I am not sure.

The "pmcutter.bundle" file when you double click it, it will decompress and create the file Xyron.csm
Close Create and Cut. Copy the file Xyron.csm into the following folder on your hard drive: Applications / Xyron Create and Cut Plus / Output Drivers.
When you reopen Create and Cut the patch is in place and working.

I downloaded the patch from the link you gave me. When I decompress"GKREcDOxN0dQhRYRcEnldKG8-dLGtKpG.zip" I get a"pmcutter.bundle" file. When I double click on that I get an error "there is no default application specified to open the document" so I can't open that file to get the "Xyron.csm"file you specified. Even when I right click the file and go to "show package contents" I do not see that file enclosed.I don't even know if downloading the patch will solve my issue below. I found a tutorial online(http://www.xyron.com/img/compel/a5s5rvaWEYbllRuDoHPGBITClKkecwEJ.pdf) and when reading the directions I do not see the Cut Contour button" in my standard toolbar. Is this what the patch is supposed to fix?I want to print a file and then cut a shape out around it (words inside a circle) so when I draw my circle shape to create the registration marks (I am assuming it is called contour cut for a mac) I get the option for contour cut under effects but when I set my options under Design central and click the green check box, it never greys out. It stays green. I never get the option in step 3 for Contour Cut Mark..Hope all of this info helps to help me figure it out!
If you do not see the option Countour Cut Mark in the Effects Menu of Create and Cut Plus or any other missing options in any of the menus do the following:
When you click the green check mark in design central, for the Contour, the green check mark will stay green and will not gray out.
However, It is normal for the Contour Cut Marks option, in the EFFECTS menu, to be gray, as well as the Cut Contour button.
Once you set your Contour by clicking the green check mark, the option Contour Cut Marks in the EFFECTS menu will no longer be grayed out. Then once you set the Contour Cut Marks by checking the green check mark in Design central the Cut Contour button will no longer be gray.

PS - is there a default location to go to look for all software updates? I'm very grateful for this forum, but would have been happy to go to a software update/patch page to try the latest version before seeking technical support...: )
when double clicking on pmcutter.bundle - my mac says "no default application to open..." When I control click on the pmcutter.bundle, I can see three item: info.plist, MacOS Folder, Resources Folder - but again, I haven't been able to double click pmcutter.bundle to open - can you suggest an application to do this? I'm currently running Mac 10.4.11. Thanks.
