I have purchased GSD Files afterdownloading and then trying to retreive I came up with an error that says "the file cannot be read by this software. It's a new version of file". How and where do I go to download a newer version. I have the Blue Wishblade (about 3 or 4 years old) ?
A new version of the software will not solve the problem. The problem is that the person who created the file created them in software other than the Wishblade software. The Wishblade software programs only read Wishblade GSD files. Contact the vendor and ask them for a Wishblade GSD. Consider purchasing files only from companies who are reputable and provide 100% Wishblade compatible files.

The GSD files I am trying to open are on the software CD provided with my wishblade. My cutter needs aligned, so I am trying to print a registration mark test form included on the CD. Any help for Mac users with the files Xyron created??
I'm not even sure what to do with the test form once I print it...The instruction manual is not clear at all.
GSD files are for use on the PC using Windows and the Wishblade software program only.
Mac users should use the Create and Cut software only. The Create and Cut software will not directly open a GSD file. You can print the files on the PC with the Wishblade software to a PDF file. You do not need to print / cut out any test forms for the Mac or Windows version of Create and Cut. The only time you need to align anything would be when you are using the Contour Cut options where you first print and image and then you cut it with registration marks. If you are a Mac user you should not be using the printed manuals that came with the Wishblade, those are only for the older Wishblade Software program. The manuals for Xyron's newer program, Create and Cut Plus, was produced electronically in an effort to help eliminate waste and to "GO Green" and are not printed.
