1. I have a bunch of gsd files that I can't use with my Create and Cut. Is there a way to convert them to an fs file?
2. there was a recent posting for an hourglass shape; I'm unable to see what it looks like or download it. Is this a problem at my end?

There is no preview of the hourglass shape, but you should be able to download it no problem... what browser are you using to view the forum?

Hi!
I am wondering if there is a way to get sticky-back magnets (the kind that you cut off a roll) to stick to something that's been laminated in the Creative Station. I've tried lots of different things, like sticking tape on the lamination and then sticking the magnet to that but it still peels right off. Nothing sticks to it! I also read somewhere to wipe it with rubbing alcohol first but that didn't work either. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm looking for an cutting machine that can help with my quilting. Can you please tell me if the Wish Blade cuts fabric? And if it does, can I trace the outline of my template into the machine?

I hope this is how/where I'm suppose to post this question.
I finally got my new create and cut + software installed and when I tried to cut I get an error message " The production manager is not responding". I'm running this software with Vista and the pink wishblade.
I have read through the forums, the read mr files, and whatever other written materials I was able to find but have not been able to find and references to this problem.
I do have the wishblade software installed and I updated the driver. I did a successful sample cut from that software.

I sounds like Create and Cut Plus didn't load properly. Try uninstalling it by going through the Windows Start Menu / Control Panel / Remove the Create and Cut Plus program. Then go back to the Windows Start menu and choose "Computer" browse to your Hard Drive you installed on then to Program Files and find the Create and Cut Plus folder - Delete it and empty your recycle bin.
Then reinstall from your CD. The installation of the Create and Cut Plus software has a sometimes lengthy pause at the end of the install process - therefore you may have thought it finished installing when it hadn't. It is not completed until you see a dialog that states that the "software has been sucessfully installed."

I have a question that was asked already - but could not find your answer. I just got the cut and create software. Is there a way to convert my old gsd files to a file type that the cut and create can use?

I just got a new laptop and purchased the create and cut plus software. I run on mac osx 10.5.6 . I loaded the software and was up and cutting on my pink wishblade NO problem! however I went to use it again and when I started it up, it keeps unexpected quitting, right upon start up. so I uninstalled and reinstalled 10 times same issue. Im so disappointed this is a HUGE investment for me, and it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

First try to restore the factory defaults. In the Xyron Create and Cut Plus Folder (in Applications for Mac or Programs for PC) There is a program called Preference Manager. Start the program. It will prompt you to load Factory Defaults and choose OK.
This will also work to fix most problems that occur after you were already cutting properly. It changes everything back to the default settings - so keep in mind that if you had to change the port or make any other changes that you will have to change those settings again.
