My new computer arrived yesterday with Windows 7 and I cannot get my Wishblade to work. I have the original blue machine. There's nothing wrong with my WB. It worked great with my old machine running XP. I can get the WB software to install just fine, but when I try to cut, I get the error "Cannot find the Wishblade PMC driver".
Am I out of luck? Any ideas?
To get your blue Wishblade to work with Windows 7 you simply need to purchase the Create and Cut Plus program and it will work great. Create and Cut is Windows 7, Vista and Mac compatible and has many more features than the Wishblade software program.
Xyron will no longer be creating updates for the Wishblade Software. We will continue to update the Create and Cut program when needed.

Sandy, thank you. I also want to thank one of your very friendly and very proficient tech support reps, Tami. I got on the phone with her earlier this week and she was able to help me out. I do happen to have a copy of Create & Cut. She was able to alter some settings and install a patch. I'm now cutting again, but with the Create & Cut. Now to look for the instructions of how to convert .gsd files.
I still wish I could get my WB to work off of the WB Advance program to avoid having to convert any of the over 2,000 files I have. Any idea if WB Advanced will work if I upgraded my Windows 7 Home Premium to the Windows 7 Professional version that has the virtual XP?
Wishblade Advanced Software is a private label version of the software made for CraftRobo.

It appears there is a Windows Vista 32 Bit Version, however there is no mention of Windows 7. Typically Vista programs do work on Windows 7, but I do not want to imply this will work with your Operating System. The software may work on your Wishblade, however we have not tested this.
Has anyone else out there tried this?
There is a file posted on our website that will help you convert your files. It is located at: http://www.xyron.com/img/compel/6dxOujc5WznhYiX9VhovYGP_MtRtFq09.pdf
Also an even simpler solution is to print your files, scan them, import them into Create and Cut Plus (FILE / IMPORT) then use the Auto trace feature (button that looks like a "Z") to convert them to vector files.
I know its frustrating to try something new but consider using Create and Cut Plus over the Wishblade Advanced software. It does so much more than the original Wishblade Advanced or the Craft Robo software programs. Once you take the time to learn the software you will find that it is easier to use, works better, and has many more functions. You can import tons of vector clipart for free from the internet or purchase huge volumes of vector clipart very inexpensively. You can even cut your Microsoft Word WMF Graphic files. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.
I bought the new software -- yes the program comes up but I am still having trouble cutting.
Also if anyone know the trick to print and cut --- I would really like to do this but still can't and I have
had the Pink Wishblade since it came out - I am sure it is something I have set up wrong but I do not
know what ????... I would welcome any info anyone has to give --- THNAKS !!!
Thanks, Sharon

Is there a way I can use the Create and Cut Plus software to print custom-design decals on my printer, and then place the sheet in my Wishblade and cut out the custom-designed decals? Or is there separate software I must use that the Create and Cut Plus can read from to enable it to properly locate and cut out the custom-designed decals? It is my understanding that it could be done with the Advanced Craft Robo software.
Thanks.
I would recommend contacting us at tech support directly and give us as much information as possible about the problems you are experiencing, including your computer setup up, Operating system, and which version of Create and Cut you are using. We would love to help you but need more information.

I have done this very successfully with Create and Cut Plus. You can purchase inkjet printable vinyl in 8.5 x 11 inch sheets then print them in your printer using the Countour Cut/registration marks and cut them out in in any shape you wish. They also sell a spay that makes the vinyl waterproof and has a ub inhibitor in it.

I have a Wishblade and the Craft Robo software traditionally has not been compatible as in I cannot cut from the CR software. I just tried to download it for grins and it won't accept my WB serial number for an authorized download. Thanks, but that one's not going to work.
Carrie, I sent you an e-mail. Hopefully the information you have would be helpful. Thank you for posting and offering it.
