Bitmap vs Vector
All digital cutters need vector graphics to cut. Bitmap files cannot be directly cut. Another name for Bitmap Files is Raster files. You can however import a Bitmap file and create an outline for cutting by Autotracing or Drawing. The chart below shows some of the Bitmap or Vector graphics file types. Some file formats can include Vector and Bitmap. If the file contains only readable Vector information it will import into Create and Cut Plus and Cut.
